Things have been moving and shaking in Residential! Here are some highlights:
We’ve been traveling! There are so many good stories! Be sure to ask us about the trips if you get a chance!
- Doug retired, then traveled to Omaha and Spain for assistant weddings!
- Debra, Mark and Leana got to join Doug in Omaha and Leana joined Doug in Spain.
- Mark went to DC for his nephew’s wedding.
Many core members participated in the Special Olympics Bowling tournament and brought home medals! Sharilynn brought home GOLD and will get to go on to Regionals!

Farmhouse has made it through the first week of bathroom renovations. So far it’s looking great! Everyone at Farmhouse is doing a FANTASTIC job being flexible, spending days at the Welcome Center, and taking on all the extra annoyances of having a house under construction. BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has donated a meal or money to help Farmhouse keep their sanity through this time. We are SO grateful for the abundant support of our community.

A volunteer group came out to help clean up all the blackberries and dilapidated swing set in the Ananda yard. It looks SO MUCH BETTER!
Les got to go to a weekend Halloween Camp! I’m sure he’ll be excited to tell you ALL about it!
With our Jesuit Novice, Nhat, spending time with us, core members are getting to do all kinds of extra things. Hopespring and Farmhouse have particularly enjoyed getting back to church on Saturday evenings at Holy Disciples in Puyallup. They received SUCH a warm and open welcome there.
As we look forward to the months ahead, we anticipate some fun holiday celebrations, some dear leaders transitioning out of their roles in residential, and some staffing re-arrangements to help cover everyone’s needs. Stay tuned for updates about these changes in the weeks ahead.
